I would love to claim originality for this post, but to be honest, most music teachers are repeating advice that has been shared them in the past. Why not continue to share the love?

Art is recycled. Words are rearranged. Music, if you think about it, contains the same pitches, over and over again, in an infinite number of combinations. Yet the path to creation, while it’s rarely a straight line, contains elements of similarities across all disciplines.

Show up, put in the time every day. Don’t be afraid to make mistakes.
